Citizens Dealer Service Specialist in Johnston, Rhode Island

Description

The primary role of the Dealer Services Specialist is to facilitate the collection and reconciliation of payments made to our dealer reserve accounts. The role involves direct communication with dealer partners to establish and maintain accurate contact information and provide detailed explanation of accounts when needed. The colleague will perform routine accounting transactions. This position requires strong analytical skills in addition to an accounting background or associated work experience. The dealer services specialist will work closely with our Finance and Loan Servicing partners which will require strong communication skills. Additionally, the role will involve direct communication with our dealer partners to facilitate any adjustments necessary. Strong aptitudes with the Microsoft Office Suite, ALS, and CMOD are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED

  • Applicant should have strong Excel background

  • Applicant should have strong mathematic competencies

  • Applicant should have strong analytical skills

  • Applicant should have strong communication skills

  • Familiarity with ALS a plus

  • Familiarity with Indirect Auto Lending preferred

  • 1-3 years of accounting background preferred

  • Strong phone skills necessary for collection of negative reserve balances owed

  • Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively while prioritizing and organizing tasks

    Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday
