Citizens Learning Experience Design Consultant in Remote, North Carolina

Description

HR Education and Training Development is seeking a skilled Learning Experience Design Consultant with the ability to leverage Agile and Design Thinking learning approaches and processes to solve complex business problems with best-in-class learning solutions that drive meaningful growth with measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will enhance our educational programs by integrating basic AI tools to create more efficient and effective learning experiences. This candidate will have strong project management skills, a solid understanding of how people learn, and the creative, technical, and innovative talent to help reimage learning to be more colleague centric. This role plays a critical part in Citizens’ people development strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Design Learning Experiences and Consultant with business based on scoping requirements and create engaging and outcoming driven learning experiences.

  • Apply traditional instructional design principles integrated with introductory AI tools to streamline course development and learner assessments.

  • Design and implement instructional materials and courses incorporating basic AI elements such as automated content suggestions and simple data analytics to enhance learning personalization and efficiency .

  • Training Project Management skill (tech and non-tech skills)

  • Understanding of how to assess learning programs.

  • Ability to develop Human - Center Learning Strategies

  • A keen eye for design and aesthetics

  • Know and understand adult learners and incorporates elements of different disciplines line interactive design, neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and teaching.

  • Technical savvy to pull knowledge together to build an engaging and innovative learning experience.

  • The ability to move from editing a video for a hybrid course to designing a uniform visual look for a suite of learning experiences.

  • Ability to work with learners, key business partners, leaders, and stakeholders on a regular basis to translate business needs into learning experiences that shift mindsets and create sustained behavior change.

  • Ability and initiative to understand critical business needs, analyze issues and collaborate cross-functionally to develop scalable learning solutions that move the needle for the business.

  • Strong financial business acumen, excellent communication and influencing skills, planning and project management skills.

  • Self-driven work ethic with a high degree of ownership

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field minimum of 7+ years.

  • Experience with Financial Services Compliance or Regulatory training is a plus.

  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and learning experience design best practices, Design Thinking and Agile development process with demonstrated experience applying this knowledge.

  • Advanced experience in colleague-focused design and learning technologies such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond, Power Director and Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Experience collaborating with variety of stakeholders including managers, colleagues, vendors, technology, etc..

    Hours and Work Schedule

    Hours per week: 40

    Work Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

    Pay Transparency

    The salary range for this position is $74,960-$101,400 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
